Here's a picture of the bedding we decided on. It's called Clover Fields. The baby's room is dark blue and tan, and we won't be repainting it. So, we needed to find something that matched the room but was appropriate for a girl. Plus, this has some red in it that matches our drapes! I can't wait to see everything put together, but it will be a while yet as the crib hasn't come in yet (should be here in the next 2-4 weeks.)

Postponed our Document Burning Ceremony
It was too HOT this weekend to have our document burning celebration. We went to my parents for dinner, but considering it was 95 degrees there was no way we were starting a bonfire! We even brought our camera so we could share pictures. But, we'll look to try again this coming weekend. As Fabricio said, it's not an urgent need, but just something more fun and symbolic. We could use the shredder, but that would probably start on fire!
I've had a couple of people tell me that I look like I've popped a little in the last week, so I'll have to post another picture soon.
I know not too many people probably agree with me, but I am looking forward to the cooler week ahead! 70-80 degrees? SURE! 90s? No thanks, I'll stay inside! :)
I'm not sure what happened to the rest of my post! I came back Tuesday afternoon to look at the blog, but the last paragraph disappeared; must be user-error! Anyway, I just wrote that Fabricio and I went with Anna and Tom Vogel to the Science Museum on Sunday to see the Pompei exhibit. Interesting artifacts; plus, it was inside so no 90 degree weather! :)

Happy 4th of July!
There's not much going on with us these past few weeks, but I thought I should update the blog since I haven't done so in almost 2 weeks! Yesterday we went to the "Taste of Chanhassen" to celebrate the 4th, but I only lasted 3 hours before needing to go home! It was so hot outside, I actually laid down in the shade to rest for 10 minutes before we left. We DEFINITELY won't be going to the State Fair this year; I won't be able to handle it at ~ 32 weeks. :) No pictures from yesterday though, we always forget to bring our camera.
We're just starting our registry, making a list of things we need/want and using recommendations from friends (thanks Angie!) However, I'm sure it will be several more weeks before we actually make it into the stores to register! :) No other baby news; things have been pretty quiet.
Hmmm...what else. This Saturday we're going to my parents for a "INS document burning celebration". We've held onto all of our INS/USCIS/whatever it's called since Fabricio became a citizen last October. Yes, that includes all documents, supporting info, etc since October 2001. Rather than shred everything, Fabricio wants to have a ceremonial burning of the documents, since it was such an arduous process.
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
