Camila and Lily running

The other weekend Camila and I visited the Quales. Camila and Lily had a great time running all over the living room, shouting and yelling while "chasing" each other. It was so much fun seeing them play together!
I love this - they look peaceful but in seconds they're running again. ;) Ang, great picture!

Random pictures

Just a few random pictures of Camila. Here she is reading her favorite book. She loves to imitate me and shake her finger saying "Mama mama". (Mama called the dr and the dr said "No more monkeys jumping on the bed.")
Her favorite stuffed animal - her kitty. A guarenteed way to distract her when we're making dinner is to ask her "where's your kitty?" She'll toddle into the living room to go find it and give her kitty a big hug. Just running around the house.
In case you were wondering if Camila still has chubby cheeks, yes, just look at this picture. She still has no neck, just cheeks!

Enjoying the long weekend

I don't have a creative title for this post, but my state of mind this weekend is that I'm so glad I don't have to work on Monday! :) I love long weekends....
Camila is really good at running now, and her favorite game is to run from our bedroom to the walk-thru bathroom, to the hallway and back into our room before heading off the the bathroom again. She could do this forever, and absolutely loves it. It's a great way to wear her out before bed!
She's learned a few more words, but I've lost track of what ones I've already posted about and what ones are new since the last time. She's good at "mine", and just started to say bed, belly, Camila (= a la la), and shoes. I think she's going to end up with a shoe obsession, as she loves all shoes (mine, hers, Fabricio's, and so on.) Isn't she starting a little young?
And lastly, eating is going much better. I'm braving the mess and letting her feed herself more. This means I have to think more about what she gets to eat (which isn't always what we eat) but she actually feeds herself veggies from time to time. :) She's also taking some amazing naps. Today she took over a 3 hour nap this afternoon!

Camila has turned into a photo ham!

So I thought I'd take a couple of pictures of Camila before bed (after her bath so there was no food smeared in her hair, or leftover pieces of dinner on her face). As soon as I pulled out the camera, she started running to me, laughing with a huge grin on her face. It looks like our little girl has turned into a ham, and loves to get her picture taken. I always knew she enjoyed it, but this was the first time she fairly freaked out with excitement. And to top it off, her daycare lady made her a camera out of Legos, so Camila was "taking pictures" all day today. Ah, what will we do with our cutie? :)
