Eyes, teeth, and taking care of baby
Below are just a few random pictures of Camila today....
Camila, where's your eye?
Camila, where are your teeth?
Here she is playing with her baby (and just being silly).

Happy Easter
Sorry I've been so bad at posting lately. We've just had a lot going on at home and at work. Camila is growing up very fast, and learns something new every day. She's started saying "please", "spoon", "there it is", "here you go", and knows where her mouth, nose, ear, eye, hair, knee, belly, teeth, pata, and hand are.
She's been doing really well lately at mealtime. She's had mac n' cheese twice this week, whereas she refused to touch the stuff since October! She's still working on feeding herself with a spoon (a very messy deal) but she has so much fun.
She hasn't been napping very well at daycare, so she's been pretty cranky in the evenings. It's pretty tough when Fabricio and I are also exhausted, but we have to keep reminding ourselves that she's the little one and can't rationalize why she's cranky.
She's got quite a temper on her.... She wants to do what she wants to do, and will scream and shout when she's upset. We get quite a few temper tantrums out of her. Last night I took her for a walk, and she started running to our neighbors house b/c they had toys outside. Well, I wouldn't let her play with them, so she threw a temper tantrum on the neighbors lawn...while they were watching from the window!

Fun with Crayons
Camila loves to color. Every day she runs to the cabinet that has her crayons and paper and shouts "cacur" (color) until we give her a couple of crayons (a girl needs choices) and some paper. However, this weekend we noticed she had a little more fun than usual....
Below are just a few misc pictures of Camila. She's learned a few new words and phrases: book, stay there! (coupled with a hand out - this comes from us telling her to "stay there" when we open the oven). She has a fascination with puppies (and will go "shush" everytime she hears a puppy. I'm guessing that's from daycare, as her daycare lady always tells their dog to stop barking.) Also a fascination with babies. She loves looking at babies, so we bought her a new baby doll. She's keeping us busy, but we're having so much fun!
Her "Camila-sized" blanket, made especially for her by Aunt Melissa. Camila loves this blanket and walks around the house trailing it behind her. It also serves double duty as a blanket for her "bebie".
